Our Lesson Program
At Spring Creek Stables we provide lessons for beginners to advanced, ages 5 and up. The majority of our lessons are private one-on-one sessions with your instructor, ensuring that the student gets instruction tailored to them as an individual. Our lesson program focuses on creating independent and confident riders with a strong foundation in horsemanship. All of our lessons start from the ground up including how to catch and tie your own horse, how to groom and tack your horse safely and effectively and how to successfully communicate with your lesson horse while riding. We take great pride in seeing our students grow and learn, as well as forming relationships with our students that last for years.
We are a multi-disciplined barn, meaning we have instructors for both western and english riding. We have instructors with experience in, but not limited to, western pleasure, barrel racing, playday events, ranch reining, hunter jumper and dressage.
Each of our instructors set their own schedule, so to ensure you are paired with the best fitting instructor for your needs please fill out the contact form and include the students name and age, if they have any prior experience with horses, what days/times work best for you, the best phone number to contact you at as well as if you prefer text or call. Please keep in mind, weekends are already very busy for most of our instructors but each of them tries to be as flexible as possible in their scheduling process.
Some instructors do offer small group lessons, however they may choose who can join a group at their own discretion. Group participants must be close in age and skill level so no one gets left behind in the learning process.
Private lesson rate:$65 for 30 minutes - for beginner students ages 5-7
$80.00 for 45 minutes - for beginners students ages 7+
$90.00 for 60 minutes - for intermediate students 7+ and adults
Group lesson rate: $70.00/per rider for 60 minutes
